Where is the ice cream made?
Our ice cream is made from scratch at Praline's Central in Wallingford, CT.
How long should I leave the cake out to soften before serving?
The smaller the cake, the less time. A 7" cake should be taken out about 10 - 15 minutes before serving. A 10" or 12" ice cream cake should be taken out of the freezer approx. 15 - 25 minutes before serving. If the humidity is high that day, decrease the time.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept all major credit cards.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes, you can purchase gift certificates any time of the year.
Do you serve gluten free products?
Yes. Please refer to the DIETARY OPTIONS section for a listing.
Do you serve sugar free products?
Yes. We serve no fat-no sugar ice cream. Please refer to the DIETARY OPTIONS section for a list.
Can I choose different flavors when ordering a cake?
Yes. You can choose two flavors. Additional flavors and toppings can be chosen for an upcharge.
How many scoops are in a small?
We sell ice cream by weight, not by volume.

We have owned Praline's Cafe since 2006. Upon learning that the store was for sale, we saw an opportunity that we could not resist - a charming ice cream store with an old fashioned feel found in the heart of downtown Southington.
Our career backgrounds in Operations Management and Design, were a perfect blend of business and creativity that was needed for the store to grow.
Eager for change, we gave the store a fresh look, added a visual management system and implemented a marketing plan as well as a training program for our employees.
Our continued focus on customer satisfaction drives us to seek constant and continuous improvements for our business.
